My wife and I rotate breakfast places most weekends but Eggsellent Cafe has become our default place to go. The staff and management are incredibly nice and welcoming. The food is consistently excellent and they probably have our favorite coffee. The portions are large and you always feel as if you got you money's worth. My only critique is that I wish the coffee mugs were bigger because I'm always asking for a refill. Otherwise, this place is great and should be on everyone's radar. 👍
We come here a lot! This place has always been very near and dear to my heart. I lost my Dad to Cancer a few years back and he loved Eggcellent Cafe! Sometimes after his Oncologist appointments or treatments (if he was feeling up to it) my Mom would take him to get a bite to eat. He loved this place. Everytime my Husband and I come to eat I always think about him. The foot is always hot and fresh and we always have top notch service. We love one of the Waitresses “Yes Yes”. She’s always smiling and super sweet and friendly and very attentive! She is awesome!
OMG! This place is a gem. Had lunch here for first time. Got the Chicken Pesto Penini with fried okra. Awesome! Also, they provide condiments on the table, unlike other restaurants now where you have to ask for everything. Great soundtrack playing at a volume level so you can have a conversation. Service is very attentive. I'll be back!
Food is amazing, and what can I say about the service? Spectacular! There is this lady, really nice and that not only got my order but pleasantly shared suggestion for healthy food. Hot chocolate is delicious, and I ordered veggie omelets with brown harsh, smoked salmon and sliced avocado as sides, gluten free pancakes with berries and fruits. Very tasteful. They do delivery.
The food was absolutely excellent, and the service was truly five-star. From the moment we walked in, the manager and his wife were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. You can tell this is a place that values both hospitality and integrity. I accidentally left behind a very important item, and they went above and beyond by helping me to late the lost item. That level of care, honesty, and customer service is rare, and it speaks volumes about the character of the people who run this establishment. I highly recommend this place not only for the amazing food, but also for the exceptional service and genuine kindness.
After being a home for 8 months of not wanting to go out because as first parents we were scared of going out with because we thought she was going to act up, now we can’t stop going out. This was the first place we ever visit because is was 3 minutes from our house 🤣, but loved everything and we had such a good experience, they even took our word and prepared a little size of food for our baby that we asked for. Stumbled across this hidden gem in Carrollton. We arrived at peak brunch time and were fortunate to get the last available table. The service was outstanding and cheerful. We couldn't decide between breakfast and lunch so we ordered something from both and shared. Eggs, hash, pancakes, grits, fruit, chicken bacon ranch sandwich on sourdough and fresh squeezed orange juice. We didn't get a picture of our food because we were too busy eating it. Lol. Listen world, I love breakfast irrationally so. This spot is a hidden gem. Food is bussing I mean above and beyond. Fluffy 🥞 perfect 🥚. Take your significant other here or just duck off yourself. But definitely bring your appetite.
Eggcelent is truly my go to spot. I order from here regularly through Uber Eats during the week and also dine in on weekends. Everything I’ve tried from their sandwiches to their breakfast plates has been consistently excellent. The berry berry crepes are a standout and my personal favorite. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, the staff greeted us warmly with genuine smiles and provided excellent explanations of the menu. The food was absolutely delicious, and even though our order was to-go, the presentation was impressively well done. The overall experience exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be ordering again. I can also see myself coming back with my family for brunch in the near future.
